guest speaker for the 2023 AAASP ASPIRE Awards in Atlanta. His
message of, “persisting despite every challenge,” was perfect, heartfelt and well received by all. As an organization serving young
athletes with physical disabilities through sport, our alliance with the
Georgia High School Association and the Georgia Department of
Education opens doors, previously closed. But we know that our

Today’s annual board retreat was both inspiring and energizing.
We kicked off the day with a powerful keynote from Aaron Golub—
the first legally blind athlete to play in a Division I football game.

Holding 450 high schoolers rapt for a full hour is a difficult task for even
the most engaging speakers, but Mr. Golub's presentation did just

The session was amazing! Thank you so much again. This was a great session- I have a disability (neurodivergent) and I related to Aaron and the other attendees greatly. It is so difficult to navigate life, whether personal or business, when on the exterior you 'look' fine, but on the inside, it is a totally different story. This world is so diverse and although we are progressive as a society and country, I believe this work and education needs to continue to be done and shared.
