Today, we had the privilege of welcoming Aaron Golub to the YCDS campus. Aaron shared his truly inspirational story, one that challenges us to rethink our limitations and focus on what’s possible when we lead with purpose, collaborate with intention, and communicate with clarity.

His journey reminded us that leadership isn’t about titles, but about influence; collaboration is about valuing every voice; and communication is the bridge that makes both possible.

Aaron Golub’s presentation at Disability: IN Minnesota’s annual celebration for International Day of Persons with Disabilities was inspiring and impactful. His story of resilience and inclusion motivated us all to embrace challenges and foster a more inclusive world. A few key messages included ‘It creates an awkward situation when we assume, not when we ask’ and ‘Asking for help is a strength, not a weakness.’ We are incredibly grateful for Aaron’s contribution to our celebration and powerful message.

The American Concrete Pavement Association was excited to welcome Aaron as the keynote speaker for our 62nd Annual Meeting. From a logistical perspective, Aaron and his team are easy to work with and are particularly concerned with understanding your audience and presentation goals. Beyond that, Aaron’s keynote presentation offers a unique perspective on tackling challenges. While people often struggle with challenges that seem impossible to overcome, it was inspiring to see how someone with a daily challenge was able to persevere and achieve incredible success. The interactive piece of the presentation really puts the challenge of visual impairment into perspective and offers an important life lesson about asking for help, offering help, and working together as a team to achieve success. 

Aaron Golub’s keynote at Leadership Day 2025 was unforgettable. His story of overcoming adversity as the first legally blind D1 football player inspired us to lead with resilience and purpose.

It was such a pleasure to host Aaron Golub to speak to CoBank’s Ability Employee Resource Group.
